Product Description
TILE GRIP + is a polymer additive pre-mixed with cement or cement-sand mixture, used with water for installing tiles and natural stones. Compatible with both grey and white cement. An economical solution offering reduced cement slurry consumption, good adjustability time, high water retention, no hollow sound behind tiles, improved adhesion and bond strength, and self-curing property.
Conforms To
IS 15477:2019 Type 1 — polymer additive to be pre-mixed with cement/cement & sand, mixed with water for installing tiles and natural stones using traditional cement slurry over a freshly laid leveling bed.
Area of Application
Floors, walls, internal & external areas, dry & wet areas, domestic & commercial applications.
Installation Surface Preparation
Substrate must be cured, undamaged, compact, rigid, resistant, dry, and free from debonding agents and damp. New concrete slabs should be damp-cured for 28 days. Expansion joints must be provided and filled. Ideal leveling bed prepared using a water : cement : sand ratio of 0.4 : 1 : 6 (varies as per requirement).
Mixing
Mix 300g of TILE GRIP + with 1 bag (50kg) of cement. Add this pre-mix with sand in a 1:6 ratio, or as per industry standards. Adjust water to achieve the desired consistency.
Shelf Life & Storage
12 months shelf life in a sealed pack. Store covered, away from sunlight, in damp-proof conditions, and protected from extreme temperatures.
Coverage
One 300g pouch is mixed with a 50kg cement bag. Coverage varies with leveling bed thickness and mix proportion.
